SAHWH's transactional practice consists of the representation of numerous individuals and companies in the entertainment field. We counsel clients on day-to-day corporate and business matters, including contract negotiation, acquisition and sale of businesses, trademark filing, copyright filing, licensing, employment contracts, and other matters. SAHWH offers an expertise in all areas of the entertainment field, including music, theater, motion pictures, television, live performances, publishing, multi-media and advertising. We act as intellectual property counsel to large corporations with diversified interests. While the majority of the firm's clients and practice is concentrated in the entertainment field, we also offer the services of a general practice law firm to our clients, providing assistance in the areas of family law, real estate and other general matters.

SAHWH's client base is diverse and includes music publishing companies, record companies, music publishers, live music venues, motion picture companies, major recording artists, songwriters, authors, Broadway and motion picture composers, book publishers, screenwriters, fashion models, artist management companies, recording studios, merchandisers, music festivals and record producers. SAHWH also acts as special counsel for companies involved in the entertainment and in the intellectual property field, such as providers of background music services and media systems dispensing information to the public. In addition, SAHWH represents and does the licensing for the estates of several of the twentieth century's premier performing and visual artists. SAHWH has a strong international practice, with clients in numerous countries around the world, including Germany, Russia, Japan, the United King¬dom, France, Switzerland, Australia, and South Africa.
